Spišská Kapitula is an exceptionally well-preserved tiny town on the outskirts of Spišské Podhradie and overlooking Spis Castle. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The cathedral was built between the 13th and 15th centuries in the Romanesque and Gothic styles. Spišská Kapitula is an old walled village with only one street and with outstanding view of Spis Castle. Spišská Kapitula is seat of the Theological Institute.
The Theological Institute in Spišská Kapitula works as a part of the Faculty of Theology. It contributes to the research, studies and various kinds of theology services.
